BJP's Road to 200

200 Possible Seats break down as follows for 2014 Lok Sabha Election for BJP:

Assam: 5
Bihar: 15
Chattisgarh: 7
Goa: 2
Gujarat: 20
Haryana: 4
Himachal Pradesh: 3
Jhammu & Kashmir: 1
Jharkhand: 10
Karnataka: 16
Madhya Pradesh: 23
Maharashtra: 25
Punjab: 7
Rajasthan: 20
UP: 30
Uttarakhand: 3
West Bengal: 1
Territory: 7 (Delhi and others)

If BJP manages to get 200 seats, then they need 4 big parties to support them to form the govt. One of the easiest partner will be from Tamil Nadu, AIADMK. Jaya's party would like to be part of central govt and if they can manage to get 20+ seats, that would be an easy support.

Second support might be from Andhra Pradesh. Either TDP or Jagan's party will get close to 20 seats because of non-performance from Congress and that would be another 20 seats.

It is the third-fourth support which will be interesting to get for BJP. Some of the big candidates are: Nitish Kumar from Bihar, Mamta from West Bengal, Biju Janta Dal from Orissa, Sharad Pawar's NCP, Samajwadi Party and Bahujan Samaj Wadi Party from UP. Since Narendra Modi belongs to backward class, Mayawati might support BJP from outside and may get 20 odd seats support and rest 12 seats could be arranged from smaller parties.

Road is still tough for BJP and introduction of AAP might change few equations in coming months.
