Redsox Rocks!!!

When they say Baseball, I say Red Sox. I started following Red Sox since 2003, when I saw a huge sofa set being thrown from few guys living upstairs. I came to know that, BoSox Lost to Yankees in the Post Season.

Next Season, 2004, History Got Created. Boston won after more than 80+ years..Wow..

Since Then, Big Papi, Manny, Captain Tek etc became everyday words during the summertime. Red Sox this time are playing real good ball games. They are just not relying on David Ortiz or Manny to score runs. Infact, Mike Lowell, is there highest rungetter and Youkhilis is there leader in number of Hits. Crisp and Pedroia are good everyday players who gives you bit of offense and good defence.

You Got One Good Pitcher, "Tavarez", 2 Better Pitchers "Wakefield and Schiling", 1 good rookie pitcher and sensation (Japanes Pride) "Matsuzaka" and American League's best pitcher "Josh Becket".

Now Defination of me being used in the front para of good, better and best pitchers are depending upon the 10 game ration. In 10 games, If you give me 2 great start and 4 good start and 2 Average start, you are a good pitcher.

Boston This year is Winning because of their Pitching. They were always a team who can score 5 runs every day. (on the Average). This year, they got pitching staff who will give less than 5 runs to the opposite team. Becket and Matsuzaka and Schilling has given shut down starts.

I am kind of worried about 2 things. One They dont have Lefty Pitcher. They need atleast one guy and that guy could be Gabbard or Lester or They can acquire Buehrle. Once they get Left Hander Started, and move Tavarez to the Bull Pen, They will be more stronger team. They got even better back up called, Clement who should be ready by September. So Schilling or Wakefield gets injured, they can fall on him.

Apart from Lefty Pitching, They are issueing lot of Errors. Mike Lowell was exceptional last year, he is not that good this year in defense. I feel Red Sox over paid Julio Lugo. He certainly got the speed but that is a big loop hole there. He certainly makes Error in the fielding. He is not great in defence where you can say, even if he hits below .250, you would be happy with it. I doubt Red Sox will do anything to acquire anybody before july 31st, but they are certainly hoping that Lugo tunrs Hot and start scoring runs, making less errors.
