Narendra Modi

One of the Primary reason of supporting BJP, is to get Narendra Modi as Home Minister of India. Narendra Modi could excel and remain as one of the best Home Minister India ever had.

I really like his speech. It reminds of me of young A.B.Vajpayee. He is Poetic and straight talker. He means Business. Some of the statements that came out in this elections from Modi are:

"Congress 130 saal budi aurat hai, aur BJP 30 saal ka Jawaan". (Congress is 130 year old Lady while BJP which formed in 1978, is 30 year old Young)

"Delhi mein Dosti aur Gaon Mein Kushti". (All small parties like Left, Samajwadi, Lalu, NCP etc, fights during election against Congress in various states but when they reach Delhi after election, they become good friends and form the govt. with single agenda of ruling out BJP).

"Congress is PVT LTD Company". (Congress is owned by Gandhi's ever since it has borned. Be it Mahatma Gandhi or Nehru or Indira Gandhi or Rajiv Gandhi or Sonia Gandhi or Rahul Gandhi. Its like India is owned by Gandhi Family.)

Jai Hind !!!

Hello Viral,
I think I have become the most avid reader of your blogs. I am back again.
What great reasons you give for making Narredra Modi the home minister!! I just get more and more amazed at your thinking process!!
I think BJP itself is a 30 saal ka jawan, but the leaders it has are all grumpy old men!!
I am really impressed with how BJP does it's propoganda that so many educated young people get mesmerised by them.
I am sure BJP will come to power on these elections; but alas, what a shame that would be for a great country like India!!

Jai Hind!!

I also want that narendra modi should become Home Minister. BJP's menifesto as well as IT vision is really great. India needs strong leader who has great decision power and can fight against internal and external problems. And one person can do it i.e. Advani not Manmohan singh.

Tell me Viral and Pallav (hands on your hearts)- isn't Hinduism the only reason you both (and countless other Hindus) are supporting the BJP? Because I don't think there is any other major difference between the manifestos, visions etc amongst various parties. And I can't remember any major development the BJP government did while it was in power before the UPA government.
All political parties promise great things in their manifestos- but do they really deliver them?
How come people get thrilled by listening to utter nonsense like the budhiya- gudiya speeches; doesn't Modi have any other good thing to say? Aren't there many more important issues to discuss? Why the childish behaviour? Why do the common masses get so excited by these kinds of filmy dialogues- 'delhi main dosti aur gaon main kushti' etc? Is this what makes someone a good politician? I think this would make someone a good script writer for Ekta Kapoor's serials or some B grade Bollywood flick. What would you achieve by all this mud-slinging apart from dirtying your own hands?
Tell me Viral and Pallav- do you think that Varun Gandhi did the right thing by saying all those things about the Muslims (I know you would say it hasn't been proved yet- but we all know it was true). Please give me your honest answer. Also, tell me all these anti Muslim and anti Christian things the BJP does and feels proud to do so- do you support all these? You should also support MNS then- as they are doing so good for the Marathi people. Viral- you and your family/ parents should not be living in Mumbai then.
Why do you want division amongst the community? Will progress be achievable by division no matter how good your manifestoes or visions are?
I seriously can't understand why people would support the BJP. I am no big advocate for the Congress party, believe me.
I can see how over the last 20-25 years the BJP has mesmerised the masses (the Hindus) by their Hindutva agenda. Its like Bal Thackeray wooing the Marathi voters in Maharashtra. If you support the BJP nationally for their Hindutva stand then you should support the Shiv Sena/ MNS for it's Marathi Manoos stand as well- and leave Mumbai boss- it's only for the Marathis.

It makes me so frustrated to see how people can be duped by these demagogues. I don't see any difference between Hitler and Modi- strong orators, pander to the masses, inflame nationalistic/ religionistic ideologies in people- I just fear for the ultimate outcome that happened to Hitler and Germany.

Dear Viral and Pallav,
I'm sure you did read my previous comment. I was wondering if you could give a reasonable reply to the queries I raised in that comment.

Dear Harried,

Atleast BJP has nationalists. For all their faults similar to Cong they have one major difference. That they are not sell outs like Cong is.
Whatever faith you may follow, one requirement of every Indian is to uphold the values that have originated in India and strive to maintain and propagate them instead of Arab or Western ideology. I am not talking about religion here but the thought processes indigenous to India.
Now would you support Indianization of Islam and going to a local Hajj and disconnecting with more wahabbi forms propagated by sponsorship from arabs? Would you support closure of Deobandi type of madressas whose propogated ideologies are detrimental to country?

Agreed about the comments getting childish but they are just one part of verbal tu tu main main. Even though MMS has image of a reformer economist he is helpless and cannot do any reforms. Instead look how BJP did during Vajpayee's time in economics.
Nobody votes based on mandir issues. People want development and security now.
Media's(read NDTV's and CNN-IBN's) and shady NGO's selective apathy towards injustice to Kashmiri pandits while shouting aloud for minorities does not remain hidden from us either.
At a global level, hindus are minorities. Given the history of persecution and forced/ "conditional-charity"- bribed conversions, we have every reason to be suspicious, cautious and even paranoid
